Abstract

We report two cases of prostatic abscesses revealing HIV infection in young adults. The prostate ultrasound confirmed the diagnosis. Therapeutic management was based on antibiotic therapy, treatment of HIV infection and drainage of the prostatic abscess using ultrasound-guided transrectal puncture. The evolution was good with the complete remission of the clinical symptoms and the disappearance of the lesions on the control ultrasounds.
